Everything you need to know about generating a local conveyance certificate
A local conveyance certificate is an official document used to claim reimbursement for local travel undertaken during examination duty. It records the employee and college details, the journey period, the number of days, and the applicable daily conveyance rate so the amount can be claimed from the college or board.
Local conveyance covers day-to-day local travel at or around the duty location — for example between residence and the examination centre — paid at a fixed daily rate. A T.A./D.A. bill covers longer inter-station travel over 50 km along with dearness allowance. Use this local conveyance certificate for local, within-city duty travel.
For Hyderabad: ₹250 per day (standard) or ₹312.50 per day (higher).
For other places: ₹188 per day (standard) or ₹235 per day (higher).
Select the rate that matches your duty location and pay revision as per the official notification.
Each location lists a standard rate and a revised/enhanced rate. Select the one applicable to your examination and pay revision. If you are unsure which rate applies, refer to the remuneration circular issued for that examination.
The total is the selected daily rate × number of days claimed. For example, 5 days at ₹250 per day for Hyderabad totals ₹1,250. Enter the exact number of days for which local conveyance is being claimed to ensure the amount is correct on the certificate.
Pick the From Date and To Date using the calendar picker — typing is disabled to enforce the dd/mm/yyyy format, with a selectable range of 12 months before and after today. Then enter the number of days for which conveyance is claimed, which may differ from the calendar span if some days were not worked.
Type the College Code in the code field — after 3 characters an autocomplete list of matching colleges appears. When you leave (blur) the field, the system validates the code and auto-fills the College Name in green, or shows an error in red if the code is not found in the database.
