Everything you need to know about generating an examination remuneration work done statement

A work done statement is an official remuneration document that records the examination duty performed by a staff member and the payment due for it. It states the designation, the applicable rate, the quantity of work (days, scripts, or sessions), and the calculated total amount payable — and is used to claim examination duty remuneration from the board or university.

The total is computed automatically as Rate × Quantity. The rate comes from the selected designation (for example 800 per day, 23.66 per script, or 352 per session) and the quantity is the number of days, scripts, 25-script bundles, or sessions you enter. The result is displayed both as a figure and in words in Indian Rupee format, updating live as you type.

Each designation lists two official remuneration rates — a standard rate and a revised/enhanced rate (for example 800 per day and 1000 per day). Select the rate that applies to your specific examination and pay revision as per the official notification governing your duty. If unsure which applies, check the remuneration circular issued for that examination.

The quantity depends on how your designation is paid:

Per-day roles (Camp Officer, DEC Member, Route Officer, etc.) → number of days.

Per-script roles (Examiner, Asst. Examiner, Scrutinizer) → number of scripts.

Per-session roles (Chief Superintendent, Invigilator, Custodian, Attender, etc.) → number of sessions.

RV & RC cases → calculated per 25-script bundle. The field label lists all four units so you always enter the correct measure.

The Subject field appears automatically when you select an examiner or script-based role — Chief Examiner, Subject Expert, Examiner, Examiner Bridge Course, Asst. Examiner, Scrutinizer, or RV & RC Cases. For per-day and per-session roles the subject field is hidden as it is not required on the statement.

As soon as a valid total is calculated, it is converted into words using the Indian numbering system (Crore, Lakh, Thousand, Hundred) and displayed with the Rupees and Paise suffix. For example, 4732.50 becomes “Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Two Rupees and Fifty Paise”. This wording is carried through to the generated PDF automatically.

Type the College Code in the code field — after 3 characters an autocomplete list of matching colleges appears. When you leave (blur) the field, the system validates the code and auto-fills the College Name in green, or shows an error in red if the code is not found in the database. This ensures the correct institution appears on the statement.

Clicking Download Statement PDF generates a formatted PDF containing the college details, employee name and examiner number, designation, rate, quantity, total in figures and words, and any remarks you added. The PDF is ready to print, sign, and submit for remuneration claims.
